Dave Rodkey Realtors: Personal

I was born right here in Frankfort at the Clinton County Hospital. I am a lifelong resident of Clinton County. I graduated from Frankfort High School in 1968 (on my 18th birthday, in fact). Back then, in the old days, you had to be 21 years old to get a real estate license. I didn´t know I was going to be getting a real estate license, so it really didn´t matter to me anyway. When I did turn 21 I was encouraged by Bob Fudge to get a real estate license. Bob owned Bob Fudge, Realtors and had been a father figure to me during the previous 9 years. Well, I got my license and now I am celebrating 53 years of real estate service in Clinton County. Don´t even think about calling another Realtor.

		This is my wife, Jane. She is also the world's greatest mom (just ask my boys!). We met 58 years ago at the Roxy Theatre here in Frankfort on Friday the 13th (May of 1966). We started going steady on August 21, 1966 and got married August 21, 1971. I am truly lucky, because she has not only been a great mother for our boys, but she has put up with me for the past 58 years we have known each other. I consider her my best friend and she is truly the love of my life!!
Our two sons are Evin and Adam. Evin graduated from Indiana University/Bloomington on May 8, 1999. He moved to Los Angeles after graduating, lived in Seoul, South Korea; Madison, Wisconsin; in Chicago; in Casper, Wyoming and is now a professor at Muskegon Community College in Michigan. He is married to Lisa (formerly Lisa Teyema from Frankfort). They are parents of the two cutest little girls you could ever see (well, the cutest I have ever seen) and a rambunctious little boy. Ramona was born August 11, 2010. Daphne was born February 29, 2012. Theodore was born October 26, 2014. Adam graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana on May 5, 2001. He lived in Muncie until Aug. 2005 when he moved to Bloomington, IN. He is married to Ellen. He manages Bikesmiths Bike Shop and is an accomplished amateur bicycle racer. So is Ellen. They are pretty well known in the Bloomington bicycle racing community. They also rock climb and run (Ellen is more of a runner, Adam not so much).
